May 25, 2010 - New Gums Feel So Good!

Dear Dr. Horowitz,

I just wanted to write a quick note to tell you how happy I am with the results of my recent gum surgery. First of all, though I won't say it's not a bit uncomfortable having one's mouth stretched open at unusual angles, I was amazed at how well my pain was managed during the procedures. In fact, I experienced no pain at all. And the pain and swelling following the procedures were very manageable and short lived. I never had a need for prescription pain medication at all. I heeded your advice to apply ice and found that extremely helpful.

As far as the final results, I am amazed at how quickly my mouth has healed and how completely natural my new gums feel and look in my mouth. It really is remarkable.
