When more than one tooth is missing, often the options to replace them are limited. Cutting down many teeth to make a long fixed bridge can weaken many neighboring teeth or expose them to decay prematurely. Placing a few dental implants can often give the patient sufficient support that they can hold a fixed bridge. This is always better tolerated and accepted by our patients than removable bridges.
